Haven't been paying much attention to this for a while. Is it fair to say that Europe won't give the UK a good deal because it would likely cause the collapse of the European union while the UK won't settle for a bad deal because it would end in tears for who ever is in power. So it looks increasingly likely that a hard Brexit is inevitable ?

Nah, it will be fudgetastic.

Just wait. Too many vested interests on both/all sides.

You're an idiot.

And there you go again. There is no need for this in this thread. Especially as most posters are at least if not more intelligent than yourself. Since you joined into this conversation you just keep insulting people when there really is no need. You are supposed to be intelligent, so perhaps you might just afford the rest of us mere mortals the opportunity of comment without insult.....

So someone has been wrong about what will happen post the brexit vote then?

Wow.

Look forward to the £350m a week into the NHS now then.

Now, now, roydo. What was stated was that the gross £350 million (which we all know is less after rebates are taken into account) would not be going to the EU when payments to the EU cease, and part/or all of any remainder could go towards properly funding the NHS. The £350 millioin figure was an example of the cost of a new hospital, in giving an example of relative costs.

@roydo didn't you see the big asterix on the bus? :)

How can you not comprehend my previous post?
Have you read the link?

In and around that age range, yeah.

So you have about ten years less experience of life, politics, business and general common sense than the youngest of my four children. So if you want to have a go at joey, just remember that he has probably forgotten more about life than you have so far learnt. Youth is a wonderful thing, but when you consider that everything you know has probably happened in the last ten years, imagine how much you will know in another 40 years........
