Of course it has but it doesn't mean it's not a complete financial disaster that we all have to live with .
Let him gloat, if I catch him moaning about ANYTHING that is a direct result of something HE has voted for on these boards he will get destroyed anyway.

Europe never thought this was going to vote out, that's why they gave Cameron next to nothing when he tried to renegotiate our deal.

We need to hold a General Election now within the next 2 years

This was never about money....it's about democracy.......and democracy, like it or not, has just been seen in action......

It was never about democracy, that was not the motivation for offering a referendum. The offer of a referendum was the only way the Conservative Party could see off the opposition of UKIP and thereby get themselves re-elected at the last GE.

We will all pay a huge price for that misplaced political opportunism.

Well there we go. My place of work has just lost half it's income.

Lets see if I still have a job this time next year. I'm guessing I won't

But I believe in democracy and the price of a democracy is that sometimes the majority decides they don't care about you and this time the majority decided it didn't care about me.

That's fine, it's their choice to do so or not.

There's nothing amusing about it. Some truly dumb Labour voters would have voted out to give him a kicking, without thinking for a second they were essentially electing Gove and Johnson.

Insane decision. The lower classes have fell for it hook, line and sinker. I always believed the working classes had more common sense than the upper classes; I was wrong.
Lighten up mate. what happened has happened, no point in just looking at it from a doom and gloom perspective because it isn't going to affect the results.

I'm a personal believer in finding joy in most things, even if the country is/isn't now doomed.

One of the major reasons why so many traditional supporters of Labour voted Leave is precisely what we've seen from so many posters on this thread: the feeling that they're not being listened to by people who profess at least, to know best.

The Leave vote could have been avoided had politicians acted in small ways, over housing, wages and jobs, over the last 20 years. They didn't act and are now in the process of bending the result to suit their particular ideology. This will only serve to increase the sense of dislocation / anti establishment.

TL;DR - don't diss the working class because they disagree with you. Listen to them.

I'm glad I didn't vote at all Bruce, at least people can only hate me for not voting.

With absolutely no wish to offend you mate, by not voting either way you in effect forfeit the right to complain about what happens as a result of this vote.
Not voting is, in my opinion, an abdication of responsibility.

I stress, I am not intending to offend you personally or any other non-voters, it's just my firmly held belief that not voting is wrong.
