If they really wish to save the planet, they should go to Moscow, protest against Putin and glue themselves to the walls of the Kremlin. I‘m not sure they would be treated with the kid gloves that the west does though……
You're a Tory member, why don't you use the network to get Putin involved, or does it only work one way?

Soup on glass is deffo far worse than making the Earth inhabitable.

Girl seems to forget she has a pair of Nike sweatshop trainers on and I'm sure both of their clothes t-shirts/trousers/underwear are ALL hemp/organic cotton? proper melts these people, going about things in totally the wrong way imo (and I actually agree with their general point)

unfortunately they are at the performative stage of their movement and so the chances of doing anything worthwhile are minimal for some time

it is such a wasted opportunity too - they could have spent the past three months reminding people how they were ridiculed for calling for better insulation a while back, and pointing out how much would be saved if the government had just listened

and as you're fully aware, GMTV, et al, would be queueing up to give them air time and accept what they were saying without a contrived 'gotcha'.

Not sure how it would even be possible to do a "gotcha" question when something is by now so obvious, or that they could be denied access to the media during an energy crisis that this has a direct bearing on.

Or to put it another way, how on earth have JSO got to the stage of winding up the public like this (with zero effect on the politicians) in the same city that less than three months ago saw multiple major incident fires, including one that almost wiped out a village on the outskirts? The same city that two years ago went almost totally car-less for months and everyone there remarked about how fantastic their air was all of a sudden?

Mate, it wouldn't be a relevant 'gotcha', it would be ad hominem, like Richard Mabey having a go for accepting a synthetic line of cordage whilst drowning and ending with 'petroleum saved your life!'. Or what one's footwear consists of - btw do you know how much properly handmade shoes or boots cost?

I'm not defending JSO, I know very little about them, but at least someone's doing something, and no, the media don't seem to be falling over themselves informing their consumers that insulating Britain just might have helped lessen the current energy issues.

So you`re saying the general public are so thick that they don`t know that if they properly insulate their houses it`ll save them £££s?
Decades ago the government were giving out loft insulation grants.

Yeah we got our whole house done for free a few years back, the loft, both external walls.

Thought it was a scam at first, nearly told em to koff.
