Really? I think seawater is denser than freshwater, and reaches peak density around 4 degrees, so I just don't understand the mechanics of why it would sink. How does dispersion explain it?
It is not my area but I remember hearing about marine snow, the oil bonding to organic matter and falling to the sea bed. Other factors can disperse the issue such as the movement of water, waves can force oil to the bed causing further bonding. It is a disgrace.

This is just what they want you to think.. there is actually no such thing as oil, it's all just a front so they can charge you carbon tax.
 
There's no such thing as carbon, they just want you to think there is so that they can tax oil.
Now you've got it.. it's a massive circle of oil, carbon and taxes.. they tax the oil and then tax the carbon the oil produces then use the carbon tax to pay people to put up wind turbines then tax that pay and the electricity produced by the turbines gets taxed...
 


outside of the reefer madness element, 13 months seems a bit soft.


yet, some pretty heavy bird to serve for creating a traffic jam.
