Yawn. I guess it gives our friend Tipp his daily priapism to scrape redditt content and other sources and repost it here in some sort of gotchya moment. But in any case, having old quotes from two scientists in 1970 isn't exactly very damning evidence against climate change. Ehrlich, in particular, was roundly criticized at the time by other scientists for making ridiculously exaggerated claims that do more harm than good (fast forward to present and witness GOT's own lazy youtube climate-denier pushing this as "evidence" against climate change). Climate science has evolved since 1970.
As to Australia's snow fall it is diminishing, but it shows high interannual variability. Most projections have pretty wide confidence intervals, making one-off predictions by individual scientists irrelevant to the trends and model output.

Same goes for Arctic sea ice. It is diminishing but it is a stochastic process that also gets replenished. It's going, but not at a rate originally thought. Compare 1979 (left) to 2022 (right).

But again, taking one scientist's claim and thinking it's "gotchya moment" is the intellectual laziness we expect from Tipp. But such an unimaginative tactic has literally nothing to do with the tens of thousands of independently published peer-reviewed papers documenting climate change. More generally, this is about the 10th time I've responded to Tipp's Truth Social-level posts. If Tipp would act in good faith and not just troll-post for mental-microboners he wouldn't have to be repeatedly embarrassed on this forum, but Tipp understands nothing about science and refuses to make any attempts to learn about it. What a weird way to walk through life.
