This looks great.

Wonder how it has gone down with locals?

My local council has invested significantly in Dutch style segregated cycle lanes that cross the city east-west. They're great and me and the wife use them regularly. However the main reaction has been folk moaning about cost or longer wait times at traffic lights (timings for cyclists are factored in so do add a tiny bit of extra waiting). Apparently it's a waste because they never see anyone use it.

How about buy a sodding bike and get out there fatso? And maybe be glad the chances of you flattening a cyclist has massively reduced?

I'd hope the Norwegians are more receptive than the bloaters here.

I mean for all the back slapping Norway are doing they are still exporting a lot of oil.

I imagined this would cost more but only cost 29milion USD. Is a great initiative, especially for the Nordic environment.

I wouldn`t be slapping them on the back at all.

In May, they stuck two fingers up at the world, when they massively upped their whaling quota, on the basis of nothing at all and all but did away with the rules regarding recording data of the whales killed - ie was the female whale pregnant at the time, it had an explosive tipped, harpoon fired into it.

They`re now up there with the worst offending nations, like the Japanese, the Russians and the Faroe Isles, for the killing of whales.
