He's been quite useful for the most part but we seemingly haven't been bothered to throw him on recently. Mind you we've been winning etc, but I thought today he could've really drove us forward alongside lukaku in that second half.

Excellent point.

Another thing about Rom is he never seems to pick up yellow cards so he never even misses a few games through suspension.

Being back up striker at Everton is a thankless task and no top class striker is going to sign up for the role, one woukd have thought.

If Europe happens, either next season or the one after, we'll need someone to help rotate and rest. I think grab Defoe when Sunderland get relegated.
