If our manager decided two up,top at the beginning of this game - the poor CL gets injured after ten minutes, why does he send KM on to play wide left?I was not in favour of this lad at all when he signed. After the Arsenal game I remember saying that the key for him was to maintain that level of performance, most notably the work rate. He seems to have a good understanding with Rom and works very hard, which can't be underestimated (particularly in our team).
I think you can see the value of getting centre forwards on the pitch, of any kind even if they start out of position. They have a knack of whats needed for a centre forward and think accordingly. Anyway really pleased for him and while 14 million seems a bit steep he has every chance of playing himself into contention if he continues with the same aptitude. He is never going to be the best player in the world but he's a good foil for Rom and contributes well from the bench.
The change in the 2 Nd half to remove the hopeless Lennon off, and play Valencia up top proved its true dividends that's what worry about RK either Km plays the duo role with Lukaku or Valencia comes on as a natural replacement for the unfortunate CL ?
Worked out in the end though a far better 2nd half when Lennon was rightly subbed!
