No arguably about it mate. The ball actually stuck to him. His few passes arrived at a blue shirt and he made some good runs. Unlucky with the header but there wasnt much pace on the ball in.

he had to reverse alot before heading it. always difficult to get those balls in the net.

I though the changed the game today, and every time I have seen Lukaku play with a partner up front he has always looked far more of a threat. Why Martinez and Koeman can't see that baffles me?

The doubts have been about his actual goalscoring record which is poor, but he's still a good player. Has pace and causes the opposition problems and if that then pulls defenders and makes more room for Lukaku then he and we can only benefit.

Looked good as a pairing and they must be given a few games together now starting at Watford.

He is very mobile, I'll give him that.

I still wouldn't start him ahead of Rom but I would love to see Enner start alongside him.

..not sure if the plan is for him to go back in January but he didn't do his cause any harm. You would think he'll get more pitch time on the back of today but he might slip further down the pecking order if another striker comes in.
