Solid defence and a good goalkeeper. Oh and the odd striker.

Other than that, most gifted midfield players either never got played, got played out of position, or got injured.

Been ages since we had a good keeper.

....Brian Clough won a couple of European Cups with players not all of who were regarded as top quality. A lot is about strategy, attitude and organisation as well as quality. Unfortunately we lack in all aspects.
