Redmond was superb in qualifying but he has had a poor tournament. Bit like Garbutt tbh.

Bottom line is, we've got probably 3 players good enough at international level from seniors right through to juniors.

Absolutely crap to watch, just like the full England side and just like the women's side and do you know why? Because we persist with having managers who haven't got a clue how to set up a team to play creative/inventive football who ALWAYS go for the safe option. I agree. English players are so over rated its becoming a statement from all around the world. Average players at best.

And that the players aren't really that good either.

To be fair, always find it funny hearing pundits saying stuff like "Oh well, the Italians have struggled to bring in exciting young players". They say it about every team any England side play in any tournament. And we always get smashed.
