England the pride of the home nations

Even as an Englishman I haven't been able to force myself to get behind the national team for years now. My feeling has been "Why should I want a team consisting of Gerrard, Carragher, Sturridge, Terry, Cole etc, players I despise every other match-day, to win stuff?".

Now though there are less bellends in the team (there's still a few, hi Henderson), so I'll probably pay more attention and hope "we" do well.

apparently Henderson's alright off the pitch, that big trying to be a hardman is proper cringey tho.

I will support Eng-er-land in the World Cup. But I reserve the right to laugh uncontrollably when the press big up the team and they fall from a great height. Its a Win Win.

I'll be backing them, but I'll be first to slag them off after a bad game, I will admit though that watching the games hasn't felt the same since my dad passed as we'd always watch them together be it a friendly, qualifier or tournament game

I can't get my head around that tbh.

I'm Welsh, support Everton, but I can't stand the England NT and actively hope they lose in every instance.

I think they could do well for a change, I mean I think they might play as a team rather than Stevie Me hating the mancs and vice versa. I think the manager did the right thing by dropping Joe Hart, sends a message.
