I grew up with nothing, but now I can show you how to learn away negativity and beta thinking.
My living room and main bedroom are the same, been mid 30s here since late April. Not fun.Depends on the layout and which way the windows face, I believe? My entire flat is south-facing in all rooms, so heat is never a problem lol Blackout blinds are a must though, otherwise you die of heat stroke in the current 30-40C heatwaves.
Go on....They didn’t teach you about Leslie’s cube in physics classes then?
Work in the local library? Image you'll need to queue though.I'm not leaving anything on standby. Turn all the sockets I can off at night. It looks like that from October I'll be the only one working from home -son has moved our, daughter will have a new job that she has to go to. So I'm going to heat the human not the house. Wear more layers and not put the heating on just for me. Or I could just go into the office. Need to weigh up 35 mile round trip every day against energy consumption while I'm at home.
@emir you can graduate from Jebus University in a 10 class intense session 'the battle room' and learn away your negativity and I will teach you open your beta blockers so you can become a true Alpha.@emir wants to sign up classes.
Irrelevant - the product is still bizarre? I understand the reason, but this is still a weird product with weird self-advertisement.They didn’t teach you about Leslie’s cube in physics classes then?
Find an electrician and get your leccy put on the fiddle. [Poor language removed] all these money grabbing thieves.Just an old fella thinking of ways to save money , household bills flying up. What are your tips ?.
My main one has been driving within the speed limit and not going over 2000 rpm. I drive an Astra van. Yes, it can be boring, but on average I'm saving about 15% to 20% in my costs.
The other big one is a packed lunch for work, I have always done it but Mrs B never did, a roll, fruit and a coffee she'd spend up to 10 euro a day.I have her on board now. You can buy in the supermarkets a weeks lunch for easily 20 Euro.take a jar of coffee into work, sorted.
I know , plenty fellas rolling their eyes at this thread but if I was to say the money saved by my frugal ways has paid for my trip to the Leicester City game. flights, hotel, ticket, food and drink.might stop and think.
Bit of a shocker though, a dishwasher is cheaper than washing stuff in a bowl according to Google wish I'd read that back in January !.
More tips anyone ?.
