We just conceded 3 goals in 3 minutes to a side in the bottom 3, in a Quarter Final at Goodison.

They deserved everything they got.

this is the major point of it all ( iMHO) 3 goals in 3.5mins at this level is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE doesn't matter who it is against and then throw in we were the HOME team
i think it may have been the only time if i read there was riots at the ground because of it i probably would have just shrugged my shoulders

Just read it back a few times, and this just may be the single most awful post ever in the Everton forum. It's apologist complete drivel whilst having a pop at fans, all the while showing absolutely no passion whatsoever. It's like the OP is completely unaware we've just been bended over and bummed at home to Wigan in a cup quarter-final.

Very well said sir!.

I've supported our beloved club for over 30 yrs and I can honestly say I've never felt so embarrassed not by the poor performance yesterday (Which wasn't good) but by the behavior of certain supporters, not only booing the team, but using twitter as a platform to **** certain players off.

It's one thing to voice your opinion when things don't go to plan and I believe in free speech, but some of the nonsense I've read in the last 24hrs beggars belief, fans turning on their own team and the Manager, this is not the Everton way and people need to realize that we've done well this season in certain parts with limited resources and yes there are things that need changing at the club and younger players given a run but name me a club that isn't in a similar position.

I just can't believe how quickly fans can lavish the Team and Manager only for them to turn against them in such a short space of time, all this is doing is creating fuel for the British media to put an unwelcome spotlight on our club which will damage us in the long run. Be careful what you wish for, do people honestly think Moyes should go, is this really going to improve things, making the Manager the scapegoat is one thing but forgetting what he has done for this club over the last 11 yrs, cast your minds back to Walter Smith!

For me any Supporter that boos his team is not a true supporter of the club, people may argue they have a right to vent their frustrations and maybe they do, but booing shouldn't be one of them. I watched the highlights last night and it didn't look good, made us look like a mickey mouse club. I understand after starting well this season expectations were high but are some fans are being deluded in thinking we should be challenging the top 4, for me finishing in the top 6 would be a good season considering the limited funds the Manager has and anyone thinking a change of Manager will improve that is deluded as the Red ****e.

Seriously?

I left my house at 07:00 for a 15 minute walk to the bus stop, waited 10 minutes for the bus which took me to my local town. Took another bus and two tubes to Euston station where i caught the 1007 train to lime street, i then took a cab straight to goodison. Purchased programme, coffee and chocolate bar. Watched 84 minutes of Wigan tearing us apart and then left goodison, walked for about 10 minutes caught another taxi to lime st. caught train to stafford, then another train from stafford to euston, and then another 2 tubes and 2 buses and got home at 7.30pm. Overall i spent about £100 which i do for most games. Did i boo? F**king right i did. I made the effort, and with the exception of Kev, no one else on that pitch or sideline did.

I'll be doing the exact same trip next saturday and if our boys turn up and play i'll cheer and sing which will be my choice and will be deserved. Plus i'd rather cheer and sing.

(and i've been supporting Everton for 30 years also).

Moyes and the 14 players involved yesterday were paid somewhere in the region of £500,000 this week. A large chunk of that money came from the paying Everton fans who attended the game. If they want to boo they can boo. Simple as that. I don't normally condone it but Fellaini in particular deserved it yesterday. I don't ever recall seeing a professional player turn his back on the game the way he did. I'd like to thing he will be on the end of a substantial fine and dropped til his attitude improves.

I honestly don't know why players think it is a good idea to be on twitter. They are just leaving themselves open for criticism from absolute idiots who know nothing about the game.

The OP"s attitude is what has allowed that charlatan Bill to stay comfortable in his seat for so long. Oh no, let's not do anything in case the media notice (n)

how did we give them the ball back twice from our kick offs for them to score two more times inside that time? the 2nd goal is an obvious answer, but still, how could we surrender posession so cheaply and easily

We pretty much always give the ball away from our own kick offs.
