I never said it was, people in this thread are saying he is an idiot, he is not worth listening to. If people were saying, I disagree with his ideas because XYZ then fair enough

How though? His genius is in investing the proceeds of the family emerald mine into hiring top line designers and engineers then destroying his workers to build products. He's never invented anything, he's never discovered anything. He's a self publicist who owns a manufacturing company or 4.

So Elon Musk comes up with some ideas that may lead to a diplomatic resolution of the Ukraine/Russia War and he gets attacked for being what, an idiot?

You may not agree with his ideas, I personally don't agree with them all, but what is wrong with trying to find solutions instead of ramping up what will eventually lead to a nuclear war. Do we actually want nuclear weapons to be deployed or do we want peace?

I think if this was someone other than Musk making these suggestions they wouldn't be as harshly attacked.

He is being called an idiot because his ideas are stupid, his ideas gained notoriety quicker than any other idiots ideas because he constantly courst his own celebrity status to push his wealth, agenda and ego.
