Much of the Western world is on its last legs financially. The US is $36 trillion in debt and it's most recent yearly budget deficit was almost $2 trillion. The deficit is only going to get bigger. This is unsustainable. I hope the worthwhile causes of USAID can remain funded, but much of its budget is unnecessary. It needs drastically reduced.
If you thought USAID funding DEI programmes were controversial just wait until you read about the pandemic research USAID were funding. I hope you are similarly passionate about those deaths.
Assuming that is all true, how about a managed system to give people time to adjust or, quite simply, turn off the taps and watch them die, that is what you are celebrating

USAID is not aid. It is the US Agency for International Development. Relatively little of the money goes to life or death causes. However, I'm sure some it's money does go to genuinely worthwhile causes. As I understand it the State Dept is taking over the role. The money is not drying up entirely. I hope any worthwhile causes remain funded.
I'd rather not give people time to adjust. This is a once in a century opportunity to massively reduce government waste. A year or so to 'allow people to adjust' leads us not far off the US midterms. Who knows what the political situation in Washington will be like at that time. I already have doubts that this President & congress will follow through on all the spending cuts they could deliver. A few more Dems in the Senate and House and a spending cut suddenly turns into another spending spree.
There are literal examples of people losing their support as a direct result of your people’s actions. There’s no sugar coating this, vulnerable people will die while you your silver spoon- fed bigots ramp up their hate campaign

HIV research programs have been halted, and many treatment clinics are still closed, despite a waiver for “life-saving” humanitarian aid.
USAID helps in education, clean water, pandemics, HIV medicines, food assistance, curbing illegal drugs, etc. etc., it most definitely deals in life or death.

There is no dialogue to be had with someone who simply reposts disinformation from the usual right-wing disinformation channels.
For example, the supposed big deal about pandemic research is that USAID, along with NIH, funded a company that subcontracted some research out to Wuhan lab. This company was out of compliance and the barred from further funding. So in the mind of simpletons, this apparently means that USAID somehow directly developed a gain-of-function research resulting in COVID…which is not remotely what happened.

More I think about Phony Stark and this current set up, the more I think he’s likely to be divulging stuff he shouldn’t. Not because I think he on anyone’s payroll or sympathetic to a particular political structure, but simple because I think he’s a complete head the ball that has some futurist mindset that everyone should be moving to Mars as some sort of big happy human race.

Oh, as is the Pentagon's budget. Fraud on a massive scale, all intentionally opaque. I think people will go to prison if DOGE can uncover a digital trail at the Pentagon.

If you believe that or not, I think he does absolutely and sees it as imperative to save us from doom. And that is my tinfoil hat theory as to why he feels he can do as he likes and justifies acting like a megalomaniac crackpot as it's for humanity's sake.
Well, some one promised to declassify the JFK papers. I'd wait until then before I went slandering the Pentagon and those within. They could have a bit of form for managed democracy.
