Current Affairs Elon Musk

"I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys," Musk told Peterson in a Daily Wire interview during which he referred to his child by their deadname. "This was really before I had any understanding of what was going on, and we had COVID going on, so there was a lot of confusion and I was told (Musk's child) might commit suicide."
"I was tricked into doing this," Musk said. "I lost my son, essentially. They call it 'deadnaming' for a reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead."
Musk went on to say that the experience set him on a mission.
"I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that," Musk said. "And we’re making some progress."

Full quotes for you.
Yeah, well done genius, just backed up what i said.

Oh, wait, let me guess your response.

"something, something rape"

@HSWR you’re right on nearly all of that. Look at YouTube thumbnails & titles. Everything is a catastrophe, an attack, a humiliation, the end of X,Y,Z

Being extreme gets clicks. On the right it’s saying the most controversial things. On the left it’s being the most sensitive & offended. I find both ends of the scale toe curling.

The only thing I’d disagree on is Musk putting his creepy fingers on the algorithm for twitter. It’s been widely reported he has done just that.

He didn’t buy it not to weaponise it. We all laughed at the clown show but while the left chortled & smugly said how the dumb the other side is, pockets were being picked.

It’s us on the left that needs to stop laughing at the show, toughen up & push back.

He literally said Boy once, Son twice and daughter zero times.

Or did you not read my original post either?
You asked a weird question when the original poster called his daughter a daughter which is only showing her respect & Musk who said all the things which were quoted to you but you claim are wrong.

It’s Musk’s right to choose not to accept his daughter for who she is. That’s probably part of the reason he has virtually no relationship with any of his children or their mothers.

So to answer you. If he’d called her his daughter & not a son he had lost I would have had slightly more respect for him & thought he was a slightly better father.

Elon Scruff being given a prominent position in government is worrying.

Waiting for the Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson roles to be announced now...

Trump's busy playing back those who helped him get over the line looking at the announced appointments thus far.

Clear as day already though that Trump is gonna have 4 years of a very very hostile policy towards China

It depends what he does. If it’s the expected self-interest and graft, then it is worrying, and it will probably be a disaster. On the other hand if it’s tackling the genuine waste that exists at a colossal scale within the US system and they develop better and cheaper means of delivering better services (and there’s nowhere more possible for that to happen than healthcare) then it might be a good thing.

It is a great idea in principle, but he could not have picked a more self-obsessed idiot to do it. There is no way he does not eff this up, royally.

It’s always a bit of a tautology though when people talk about this.

Everyone agrees that governments should cut out unnecessary “waste”. It’s in the definition, it’s waste. No-one would argue to keep or increase waste.

It’s all about the implementation, where someone decides “spending on homeless people? Spending on domestic abuse victims? Sounds like waste of money to me”.

You or I could easily cut $500b from US spending if we just didn’t give a damn about the consequences to people.

That's the crux of the matter.

Cut waste not important programs, reduce inefficiency not reducing for the sake just of saving money.

Don't think anyone will argue that the US federal government has become bloated to an insane degree, the question is who determined what is important and what is inefficient.

Huge savings can legitimately be made, but I doubt anyone will do so because the entire managerial system (which is what the federal government has become) would resist and fight back against it - Turkeys would never vote for Christmas.
