I'm unfortunate enough to have met quite a few of the 1%'s in my line of work, I'm actually grateful that his attention seeking has cast aside the curtain of mystery around billionaires and done away with the myth that they all must be of a genius intellect to get to that level of wealth. Far more common traits are sociopathy, luck and a rich daddy. He has exposed himself to such an extent that his fanbase simp for him out of political tribalism or good ol' plain stupidity

I don’t think it helps that people with influence like Joe Rogan have him on his podcast hanging on every word he says like he’s the authority in fields like space exploration, AI, integration of humans with technology. Gives him a big old blunt, 3 fingers of whiskey and just lets him go

Enough billions more or less guarantee anyone a platform, if they want it. Doesn't matter what they say, so long as it isn't horribly racist. There will be influencers in the media who gain audience share by having them appear on the regular.
