I think a lot of men have spent years acting in a way that they feel is what society wants and expects from them. When the idea of masculinity has become threatened or changed they resort to defensive actions as this means they may not fit the expected criteria as much.

Usually the ones that are most affronted are those that have had to put in the most amount of acting.

They do try, but tend to go for the more catch all “LGBT agenda” or other such nonsense.

But, yeah, trans people are their current group of choice to punch down on.

And I wish someone had challenged him on the “I’m not going to suppress my views to boost the stock price” bs.

Of course Musk does that all the time, for instance he loathes any COVID restrictions and complains regularly about Fauci etc yet hasn’t said a peep about China’s zero covid policy. Almost like he is concerned it might impact his Chinese manufacturing and sales.
