Depends in what context the remark is made, the language tone and any other words. In this case I believe the F word was used.

It is when it is MEANT as an insult. Once you bring up another persons colour, with the purpose as to insult them, it is racist. It can also be considered so when you call a person by the country they come from. As in you "French" whatever.

depends how it's said, to refer to someone as white boy or black boy is considered to be, i would object if he'd said "hey boy" if it was me as that is also hardly polite.

i myself think the pc brigade have gone crazy a long time ago, but if they are the laws then they are the laws.

it still stands that he has called us all racists that "showered him with bananas" though.
for that he is a liar, and needs to be brought to task for it.

on the radio they are saying that they have had calls from people in the paddock, and that he said something before the lad gave him the ball and thats why he gave it to him "like throwing a bone to a dog".

i don't know where that investigation will go but the other has been investigated and nothing was found, the police aren't looking into it. yet he then goes on radio and says it again.

of course he is, but it's the context in which it's used.

also yes Mobo is racist in the respect that excludes music from other ethnicities, i doubt if a Mowo awards would be acceptable to the pc brigade.

Well it's not seen as racist in the eyes of the law.

I understand the context, but it's something that people have to be careful about.

If someone called me a White Boy, I would say get to **** Black Boy. I wouldn't then try and build a case to get money out of the lad because chances are it would get me nowhere.

The guy who spoke to the ballboy at half time has clearly planted a seed, and said you can bring a charge against this player and hopefully he will settle with a nice lump sum. That is wrong, and if that is the case then I am embarrassed for the lad and this mystery man in the Paddock.

For me the only thing more annoying than political correctness are people who harp on about it all the time when its not even there.

You've made several references to compenstaion culture, claiming money and lawyers 4u etc etc in this thread without a single shred of evidence that the kid or his family are even going down that route, and certtainly none that they have made up the claim of racial abuse.

Touchy subject and im possibly not going to explain this well, but here goes.

Say a white person kills a black person, just before he kills him, he shouts "Take that you baaarstard", he gets 15 years for murder. Same thing, but just before he kills him he says "Take that you black baaarstard", it then becomes racial motivated and he gets 25 years.

Simples.
