That’s always been the case, certainly since the turn of the century, that Premier League clubs dwarf the rest of Europe financially.

What hasn’t always been the case however is absolutely pathetic premier league teams getting to and winning European finals. We’ve seen how horrific these two sides are all season long - they’re pitiful.

In any other season neither of them would have got anywhere near a final, but there is a huge dearth of quality in football generally.

A dire Arsenal got to face Chelsea.
A mostly dross Chelsea won the CL.


Ever since the huge TV Deals, it's happened more often than you'd think.

I am sick that such a bunch of very average teams have won cups this year. Moyes team with Yak, chill, AJ, arteta ect, would have smacked all of these.
