All the good players end up in the PL for a payday. Doesnt matter if it's dross, they mostly plough through everyone.

That’s always been the case, certainly since the turn of the century, that Premier League clubs dwarf the rest of Europe financially.

What hasn’t always been the case however is absolutely pathetic premier league teams getting to and winning European finals. We’ve seen how horrific these two sides are all season long - they’re pitiful.

In any other season neither of them would have got anywhere near a final, but there is a huge dearth of quality in football generally.
