Everton transfer window opens … “ffs Everton why we don’t sign someone… bill’s a fraud… Dyche is a dinosaur.. thelwell is a tea boy “

Everton tenuously linked with signing someone “ don’t want him anyway.. he’s crap…. Waste of money”

Love this place…. Never change (well, I expect some bedsheets need changing)
Don't forget the "he's turned us down for Bournemouth/Southampton! WTF THELWELL!!"

Remind me where Mahrez and Kante had delivered before joining Leicester?

Your point? Im sure we can find numerous flops direct from france.

A player with experience of 2 countries surely is less risk than a player only having played in one...

I like the fact the fact that we seem to be picking and selecting this lid as opposed, to making a budget meet i.e. Maupay. Its to important to mess up and not to take seriously.

I see he can come off the right, left and behind a 9, as well, bonus.

And I’m sure I can find just as many flops who have played in 2 leagues.

I believe the point I’m trying to make, and the response to your assessment that someone who played in 2 leagues is less of a risk than a player who has only played in one is ‘it depends’.

Take an extreme example. Who Would you pick over Mbappe?

This is where scouting teams are meant to earn their corn, by making those assessments on player ability to play in the EPL and in our structure/style/formation & make those judgement calls. Discounting them because they’ve only played (and played well) in one league over players who have played in 2 is discounting a huge amount of talent from the conversation. It also doesn’t discount players who maybe move around a lot because they are utter bells or lack loyalty.

Would you be surprised if Onana tried to force a move this summer based on his transfer history?

Justin Kluivert who has just signed for Bournemouth, not long turned 24 and has already played in all 5 of the major leagues (i think) can't seem to settle anywhere, most say he left Ajax way too early.
