Moshers has been to Tesco with his sofa money. Kenwright has got his champions league t shirt out. Elstone has gone on a club ambassador visit to north Korea. What can go wrong with the transfer?
Im sorry mate, but your the only person to claim Neymar is a free transfer.
They paid 200m English pounds.
Did Neymar gets 'hired' and paid a fee the same as his buyout byb the Qatari sports group mate? prertty sure he has been, if so why are they doing that if PSG are also then paying the fee for him
Not arguing PSG owners have paid the money, what i'm disputing is how they did it and if it goes on PSG books as a transfer fee, or if in fact as soon as he bought out his contract with the same fee paid to him as his buyout for the ambassador role, he was free to sign thus circumventing FFP
I get the point your trying to sell, but I aint buying a single shred of it and quite frankly, neither will UEFA.
Some high up at Uefa will meet some high up at PSG, they will agree a 'fine' that PSG will happily pay for a breach of FFP of about 60m or so, and they will both go away happy and various Uefa officials will go on the lash snorting coke of call girls t--s mate for about a week.
That's the reality of FFP mate
Another reason he defo won't be coming here then. From what ive read, basically they have 2 transfer windows to balance their books, they need to sell roughly 300m worth of players in those windows.
I wish them luck.
Sorry but in his own thread we have named him King Niasse. (With a large number of middle names)I really cant see Cavani coming here to play second fiddle to Prince Oumar, but stranger things have happened.
did anyone ask Koeman about this just at his presser? just for sh*ts and giggles like.
Good post mate, I agree with except for you saying that the wage bill would be insurmountable. As the saying goes, if you want to sup at the top table etc..I believe the story...in the sense that it's logical for the agent to leak this.
- Agent puts a floor under Cavani's fee ("Well, Everton's opening bid was 'X', so if you're serious then you better offer 'X+Y'")
- Agent gets word out that Cavani's shopping for a new home without burning an actual destination target's offer
- Agent puts fan pressure on Champions League clubs in need of a striker ("Cavani's unsettled and available so buy him or RIOT")
The wage bill problem seems more or less insurmountable, which is why I don't believe anything will come of the supposed interest.
You really are quite devious young Woolly, shame on you...but sounds good to me!If I'm honest, I don't take much notice of what the details of what happens with foreign transfer dealing, so this was news to me. I think this changes the situation a bit, so, lets run with it.
Usmanov, in the form of USM holdings, pays Cavani tens of millions of Euros to, I don't know, say nice things on telly about his mines and telecoms stuff. Cavani buys himself out of his contract and signs for Everton on a free.
Fair play to Mosh if this was / is the plan, it's sneaky, underhand and not really fair, but if it's good enough for the Frogs, then it's good enough for us. In many ways, welcome to Everton Cavani.
