ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

This incident has nothing to do with Liverpool FC whatsoever, and therefore there's no justification in punishing LFC as FIFA is doing.

This is actually a resemblance to the 6 years ban for English clubs, from European competitions in the 1980'ies. But England were far from the only country in European football at that time, where the so called 'hooligans' were raiding across Europe.

But at the time, Liverpool were the dominant team in Europe, so the ban went only to English clubs, - and once again Liverpool FC were punished.
My mind is actually boggled if that's a genuine quote from the RedEcho.

WHAT THE ACTUAL [Poor language removed]???? LFC enable and encourage Sewer-rat to think he can get away with any type of scummery imaginable but aren't at all culpable when he reverts to type?

And LFC were actually 'VICTIMS' of Heysel??? Words fail me...

Bloody hell, how can Liverpool fans blame anyone other than Suarez? He's their star player, on £200k+ a week and all he has to do outside of playing is keep his nose clean. He then bites someone (unprovoked) for the third time, despite having received lengthy bans for his previous two offences plus a racism ban for good measure. How could Fifa not take action against him?

Obviously, I can understand their frustration, he's currently one of the best players in the world and would no doubt be vital to any future LFC success. But that doesn't give you the right to defend the indefensible. Also, the less said about the European ban part, the better, the irony is too much to bare.

The WC has been getting lots of attention here in the U.S. and will continue to do so especially as the USMNT are doing so well. This biting incident is getting huge publicity and has to be very embarrassing for FSG. They will get rid of him.

I really can not believe that LFC and Uruguay are considering legal action over FIFA for this. Un freakin' believable. FIFA HAD to act, the guy committed a crime, the same one he has committed on TWO other occasions. Man are that football club deluded. Accept the ban, get rid if you want to cash in and move on. The more this idiot stays with that club the better as far as we blues are concerned. Yeah he may score goals and get them close to winning things but never actually doing so, but he really is dragging the name of LFC into the dirt. They are a laughing stock right now. Suarez is an embarrassment to the club, the game of football and the human race. Yet they defend him. Can anyone tell me how and why they do that? I seriously believe any other football club in the world would get rid of this fool immediately.

What the utter bells over the park don't realise is this is not the first time he has done this, they have supported him through previous incidents including the bite on Ivanovic and the racism row. He deserves everything he gets, and if anything he has got off lightly, he should be banned from football all together and from earning anymore money through the sport that has been so good to him.

luckily the price tag has dramatically dived now.

Cmoon Yanks! You would think all this brings new fans to everton, also

Hahahahaha! Just read the context for the quote posted by PITA above, from the ECHO Comments section.. Talk about tin-foil (tw)hattery:

Liverpool FC are getting punished once more, seriously?

Liverpool and FSG clearly have a case here. As Liverpool have Dr. Peters and Brendan Rodgers, - which in the last season clearly have shown, that LFC are capable of 'treating' Luis Suarez regarding the mental issues, which made him the 'best footballer in the EPL' by miles ahead of any others.

And even on a worldwide scale, there were talks, when Ronaldo got Ballon d'Or, that Luis Suarez was probably the 'best footballer in the world' at that time.

FIFA and especially Sepp Blatter has gone too far this time, and need to retire.

LFC are in no way responsible for how Luis Suarez is 'treated', when on national duty. And a very clear arguement for that, was seen last summer, when Luis Suarez was in Southamerica, and the exhauting 3 months long haul 'Suarez saga'.

This incident has nothing to do with Liverpool FC whatsoever, and therefore there's no justification in punishing LFC as FIFA is doing.

Had it been Bayern Münich at the same time, does anyone think all of the football clubs in Westgermany would have recieved the same punishment, or if it had been a Dutch club?

Man Utd fans can go on singing 'always the victims' about Liverpool, - but since April 15th 1989, that has actually been the case.

And I just have had enough of this.

In the lights of the truth coming out regarding Hillsborough and what this scandal has cost Liverpool in the past 25 years, I would say that Liverpool now have a very strong case, and now is the time to fight back.

And once and for all, make a statement, saying Liverpool FC will not tolerate this continued unfair treatment, by FA, UEFA and FIFA any longer.

Time to look at these governing institutions, who constantly treat Liverpool FC and Liverpool players, totally different from other football clubs.

There have now been way too many very clear differential treatments, regarding Liverpool FC and Liverpool players.

I can't be bothered to write them all. But the 'racial abuse' case and banning of Luis Suarez, clearly shows the English FA, for what they really are..!

Now that Sir Alex is out of the game, the next one should be Howard Webb, who last season in his actions (inactions) at Stamford Bridge, where he didn't send Samuel Eto'o off after his offence against Jordan Henderson 5 minutes in. (Eto'o who later became Chelsea matchwinner) and later Howard Webb didn't see Frank Lampards penalty on Luis Suarez and even later, didn't see Samuel Eto's penalty on Luis Suarez. - Taking 3 points from LFC.

At the Emirates, again Howard Webb didn't see Alex Oxlade Chamberlain's penalty on Luis Suarez, which would have resulted in Aresenal playing the re-match at Anfield.

So thanks to Howard Webb, I wouldn't even say it's 'far fetched' to claim this former police sergent in the South Yorkshire police, to rob Liverpool from the EPL Trophy and the FA Cup Trophy, - and that's only last season.

Next up in a total clean up in the English FA, and get rid of all the Man Utd 'agents' in this biased organisation. - Fergie is out, time to get rid of his lap dogs.

Enough is enough!

Take a bow, Mr David Dahl. Sepp Blatter, FIFA, Alex Ferguson, Howard Webb, the English FA, all are to blame for Libberpewl's woes. Luis Suarez? Not a peep about his culpability for his own actions. And there are 26 recommends for this pile of absolute steaming excrement!

They really are a 'special' bunch aren't they? lol

I've noticed that, after a radio silence on FB for about a day or so, my kopite FB mates are now beginning to find their voice. A common tactic seems to be to try to laugh it off, somehow.
