'Delusions of Grandeur' - I believe that this is the appropriate term that should be synonymous with the RS fanbase!

As Webster's Dictionary defines it:
'Delusions of Grandeur: A delusion (common in paranoia) that you are much greater and more powerful and influential than you really are.'

It fits that lot to a T!

Exactly, he'd never get any games.

I imagine Leighton is at home this very minute crying his eyes out at the cruelness of fate which means the richness of Liverpool's squad prevents him from playing for his boyhood idols and he has to waste his playing days at tiny everton instead. Woe is him.
 
If you ever read that old interview with Baines it seems he was a very loose Liverpool fan, said he would go to Goodison as well with his cousin, and he liked Blackburn in Sutton/Shearer days. In other words, he is not like that little toad Carragher. Remember Carraghers boys were going to fill Lucas Neill in? :lol:
