last time i call anyone gay as a joke - especially over social media. Imagine if people started using this as an example in society - life would be no fun anymore.

also, if ince is the black messi why did they let him go in the first place?

david villa - ha. they were saying that when he was the best striker in the world and they were half decent themselves. No chance whatsoever

Quite ridiculous, really. Maybe it's an error of judgement but to fine the kid 10 grand for it - come on. I'd guess 99% of gay people who've read this aren't even arsed (lad).

I know what you mean but he's in a highly paid job where the £10k means less to him than it would to a lad on £12k a year but also along with that big fat wage and 'celebrity' lifestyle comes a set of rules and however we view those rules they come with the job. Lads of his age working in the civil device or whatever might have similar rules for a lot less financial reward.

I'd guess you'd be way out on that one. My wife works in a predominantly gay office (one straight bloke out of six, I think) and one of her colleagues was saying to her only last week how f*cked off he gets with the "that's so gay" jibe (and that senor chang clip, no doubt). Like he says, it implies there's something wrong with being gay.

He has a point, I'd say.

Spot on that.

Can`t see how they can fine somebody for saying `he`s gay`. Its in the dictionary Isn`t it?

Its the context hes put it, hes put it down as a negative. - they have also by passed the mental health comment. i thought we was trying to rid the stigma of mental health, to try help people who are suffering from mental health problems

15:11 FOOTBALL

Liverpool's Suso is fined £10,000 by the Football Association for calling team-mate Jose Enrique "gay" on Twitter.

The 19-year-old has also been warned about his future conduct.

Half the people on this forum make homosexual jokes. Do you think they should be fined?

half the people on this forum are not football players with 1000's of kids wanting to be like him. there is a joke and there teaching kids (who look up to him) that saying gay for something bad.

im sure if everyone started saying everton for negative comments im sure we would be piissed off after a bit.
