That new kit looks weird with that new "red"

Im gonna get reamed for this, but I actually like their new kit. Plain and simple. If we come up with something like that (no lines, no white stripes, pinstripes, shadows - whatever) just a plain royal blue shirt (with white collar and sleeve cuffs), white shorts and white socks - I'd be happy.

It will still look gash on the beauts wearing the kit around town on non-match days though.

I can see him putting pressure on Klopp ( it's started already with that interview) to play some young kid who's just not ready, then him and Klopp 6475with fall out and one of them will have to go.
The daft fans will treat Stevie me like Barabbas and Klopp will be crucified.
It has mess written all over it.
Awesome. I cannot wait.

I really hope Gerrard is the same as a coach - loyal yes, long service yes, few decent goals yes.. wonderful crosser of the ball - yes, lead the team - yes.. but on the other hand..

overphysical, diving, complaining, misplaced all those fancy passes horribly, went missing in games for long periods as he expected others to do all the hard work.. over inflated opinion of himself.. - essentially a player whose lesser qualities weren't seriously challenged or threatened (and who relied on the likes of Alonso to do the great stuff) perfect for screwing up any job, particularly that one. I fully expect him to demand his teams play in his image which, as I say, is one that he's cultivated into being far better than the reality which most of their fans fail to see. No doubt he'll be looking to find another Stevie Me for the LFC Engine Room.. excellent cos then it'll be an bang average footballer like Joey Barton.

Unbelievable.

I wouldn't say that was a good result for them anyway, it keeps it both the Manchester clubs hands.

A United win would have been best IMO but a draw was definitely the next best result.
