Yer I admit it's very good but "the" treble is the PL, CL and the FA that's what the argument about.

I'd love to win any of the cups they won with there treble. But if we won the COC I wouldn't make out like we won the CL.
I'm inclined to agree with you mate. It's an achievement, it is "a" treble, but it's not "the" treble.

I think they were close to a deal in the summer but Rodgers wasn't keen but the owners were , on a related note Sturridge is apparently an unpopular c@ck

Lets not forget he cant displace a hasnt-scored-in-two-months Nando from the Chelsea starting XI either, and hasnt looked like doing anything even when he has been seen.

This new cadre of establishment Libpoolfc luvvies who seem to be everywhere you look these days: John Bishop. Peter Hooton, Steve Rotherham (full time MP for Lipoolfc/part time MP for Walton)...they're the new Tarby, Cilla and Gerry aren't they?

I have nothing against the charity single for H'boro; the reverse, in fact. But the same lot are trotted out in the media over every single issue affecting Libpoolfc.

Anyone else experience maximum fumage over this lot?

they'll pay 90k a week for sturridge and he'll be happy. problem is, he'll never be a goalscorer which is what they need another striker for. he'll just be an older sterling who will chip in with 4 or 5 a season

I agree, I really hope they get him.

Just above average at best

It's going to be... interesting, to see what happens when Sterling turns 18 on Saturday. Every hour that goes by where he doesn't sign a new contract will send the Cultists into paranoia overload.

You know he's going to sign and you know he's gonna get his 50k a week one way or another.

He'll sign if they offer him the correct wage yeah, but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion. He's not a Liverpool fan or even a product of their youth academy in any way, shape or form, so he owes them no allegiance whatsoever.

This is important and ususally overlooked - everyone is fapping about them bringing a young lad through but they bought him for 5 million and has feck all to do with their system.

That might be the case but I think as a blue it's a win win because Rodgers is the one trying to build a wage structure so if sterling gets the money I'm not sure it's the managers decision which is great and if they didn't offer him substantially more than the £20k offer I'm pretty confident he's off .
