They have spent more on changing managers than David Moyes net transfer spend over his entire tenure.

After wildest dreams about Jose, focusing on Unai (but only after the 2nd half in Basel) and placing Koeman below Manuel, Unai and Frank in their own Poll, they have splashed out a fortune on someone who's success rate in terms of trophies in the last 8 years is below Roberto Martinez. I like the man, he carries himself well and (until recently anyway) seemed like an honest guy with principles (obviously they can be bought), Sammy is not coming and it remains to be seen how much Sammy brought to the table in terms of experience and support.
It's a shame it's over as it has been an entertaining ride and I suppose it does show that Everton do have some cash to splash (assuming they've not spent it on Ron), GOT has saved me buying any papers, magazines or indeed comics recently but now the fun rolls on as they turn their attention to signing Lionel Messi and Ronaldo.
I'll just pop over and I guarantee you that in 5 minutes I can bag some corkers.

Ah so good ole Sammy was the wind beneath Ron's wings ahhh.

Dear God...At least he'll be easily spotted near schools & playgrounds, no hope of breaching the order in that getup, charlie :bye:

That staircase behind him!? It looks like stairs that you find on some sort of administrative/municipal buildings...Police station, perhaps?

Has he just signed the register? If not, why not?

And I'll bet he's wearing white socks & sandals, too. :dodgy:

i don't understand their point, at least we're showing ambition by going right to the top before working our way down. They've had billions to spend over the last few years and have stayed at that mid-table level by going for half of southampton's team, rodgers from swansea, good 'ol king kenny etc.

did he land his guarantee? bet he didn't, bet he gave himself away within 3 mins.

It is interesting to hear them talk about Principles, 95% of them think Principles is just somewhere you go when you need a new pair of kecks.

Just ignore them Paul, obviously by stalking GOT for a few weeks, they are obviously taking notice. Im one of the blues who has not tasted success (I was a nipper in 95) and so I treat everything with a pinch of negativity. Looking at how Moshiri wanted Koeman and got him is something that we have not experienced for a while, the previous regime would of seen the £6m release clause of Koeman and thought Nope too much, it would blow our whole transfer budget...

Lets hope we have a little ruthless streak in us and start acting like a big club again. Liverpool have done it for years even though they have had a slow decline, maybe its all about belief ? Something that has been lost on Everton FC for some time.

Think the future will hold some bragging rights either side.

If we spent a fair bit of money but actually built something from it, not splashed it about like they have then it's a real indicator of success then. Considering they gave Southampton 70 plus million in transfer fees and got zero benefit from it, imagine if we gave them only 5 million and became more successful as a result?
