All this pontificating on RAWK goes far beyond having a laugh (at our expense). There's nothing wrong in having a laugh, taking the mick. Another thing altogether to talk BS (they like that "BS" - for them it's their equivalent of the "RS"). Some of their - unrealistic - comments about Everton going nowhere and being fleeced by a conman (ha, love that bit suggesting FM is a con-man and a half-baked Accountant) and standing still.. Well that's just plain bravado. We are not about to go backwards, that's an absolute given. We are - potentially - well placed to move forward - on and off the pitch. And so what if FM does become a bit of a John Moores and only lends us money - it will be a whole lot better deal that that which has gone before.
Yes, Anderson is a slimy, untrustworthy individual and I rather imagine WHP is going to be tough without anyone offering Joe something for the deal (nod, nod, wink, wink). So it's GP or somewhere new..
So apparently it's not Stanley Park because it's "too near Anfield" - excuse me I hadn't noticed that it was that small a park, incapable of fitting a football ground in (remind if you will how many applications were made by how many football clubs to utilise that space).
And Goodison - £5m for their "Scandanavian visitors" - take a reality check! Quite apart from the ridiculous self-parody in that comment.... Would you stay in L4 or the city centre!
Anyway I've said enough - prefer instead to take the mick and look forward tremendously to checking out the new jigsaw pieces arriving over the park.
