I have a foreign sounding Christian name which I have spent my life explaining to people.

Now, I am Liverpool born of Irish parents but the name is a Mediterranean sounding name, I was called for an Italian saint my mother set great store by.

But at least my name sounds a bit exotic and women loved me explaining it on my chasing days so my travails will be as nowt compared to what this poor child is going to face for, hopefully, the next three quarters ish of a century.

Imagine trying to explain to your chums how you came to be named YNWA when they are all called normal sounding Norwegian names like Brigitte or Jan or Olga or sommat
