Those are weird.

Newcastle United 68
Everton 82

No idea how they are worked out, but maybe they, Newcastle, went into the group stage of the CL under Keegan, and they probably qualified under him and Robson again? Pardew got them in once didnt he? Add it all up, and I guess that is a better co-efficent or whatever they call it than us.

But no idea really, so could have just wasted 30 seconds of everyones life just now.

Keep thinking ive missed something, they've got one point from their last two league games and unconvincingly beat Bournemouth reserves and they're now on their way back.
Fact is they seem to be creating a lot of chances. Their defence is still a joke but, let's face it, who are we to talk on that front. I'm just worried that the fekkers are going to click just in time for the derby. It would be typical of them and us.

Newcastle finished 5th under Pardew in the 11-12 season, which is his highest finish.

Since then they have finished 16th and 10th.

Rodgers and Martinez may as well be the same manager at times, and I mean that respectfully. Both favour the attacking side of the game and both of them couldn't organise a defence if their lives depended on it. Neither manager seems to learn from their mistakes either.

The derby will be very interesting, for a neutral anyway.

That's just bollocks. Only City and Chelsea conceded fewer goals than us last season.
