No idea how they are worked out, but maybe they, Newcastle, went into the group stage of the CL under Keegan, and they probably qualified under him and Robson again? Pardew got them in once didnt he? Add it all up, and I guess that is a better co-efficent or whatever they call it than us.

Newcastle finished 5th under Pardew in the 11-12 season, which is his highest finish.

Since then they have finished 16th and 10th.

With a David Moyes defence. RM isn't the best at building his own defences, not in my opinion anyway. This will always be his archilles heel.
