Does this look like a man described like

Liverpool-manager-Brendan-Rodgers.png

No I don't think so either, for some reason the only Greek mythology I can think of at the moment in association with Brendan is Hermaphroditus but I can't put my finger on why and I'm not even sure if I could I would actually want to.

Its metaphorical mate.

Everyone knows what Brendan Rodgers thinks of himself

false surely. i mean being honest here, it's probably the right thing to do, they're going to lose regardless of what team - but their fans will not like that one iota.

The thing is though, that LFC got laughed out of court, and their supporters were left dumbfounded by the pathetic performance at Anfield and the way Real used the second half as a training exercise. If they play the reserves and get a right old hammering, that hammering will be like a dark cloud hanging over them for evermore. The club, fans, players and Rodgers will look so second rate the fume will result in the 'Rodgers must go' banners being seen more quickly than if they even attempted top put up a fight.

henderson gbobs off to the ref every single game. he seems a quiet lad, but he's the next gerrard in the barking at the ref department, something they teach over there for sure.

That's probably why he's leading candidate (I think, at least) to be their next captain. Talking to and dealing with the ref is something that occasionally wins points, as Gerrard has shown very well. I don't think that really makes him a c***. They have and have had plenty of them in their sides, but I don't think Henderson's a bad sort really.

Anyway, I'm being far to nice too them and now feel like a need a long shower, so I'll stop sticking up for him.

gerrard's never talked to a ref tbh, i've never taken much notice in henderson but i've noticed he's always there or thereabouts sprinting up to the ref to yell full on in his face, regardless of when it's the right call.

Gerrard already canonised him to be captain-elect the other week....another article where it was supposed to be about Henderson blossoming but instantly morphed into Gerrard affirming his own attributes and influence. Henderson looks awkward to me and isn't half as good as they make him out to be...then again, beggars cant be choosers with their motley crew of expensive strangers flailing round in midfield. He has attempted to crowd please with the hard knock Desperate Dan jaw in opponents faces routine of late so hopefully he will see his arse in Spain if he tries that on.
