ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I can't wait to watch them play a decent team again. They big themselves up as if they're on the level of the top clubs still but then you take a look and:

City: Lost by two goals
Madrid: Lost Br three, could have been many more

Glen Johnson against Hazard will be a fun watch, for example.

West Ham, Villa

Strangely enough, I like them winning the odd match like that last night spawny sending off n all. It lulls the more despondent RS lying dormant at the bottom of their murky pond into suddenly shouting the odds..."were on our way back...be in the top four soon...Balotelli is brilliant not a ****head...well win the league now no danger" and I enjoy watching this false sense of security evaporate when they get stuffed again not long after. Heres to Newcastle...and I hate the barcodes.

I heard Sterling was upset that it wasn't fair that the Real Madrid players were allowed to have a quick kip during the second half. He was tired and wanted his own nappy-nap time, bless him.

It's a crying shame that Real Madrid took it easy in the second half to be honest.

I'd love to have seen what would have happened if they'd decided to just keep going and run the score up as high as possible.

The new storyline is apparently that they're improving game by game - starting with a good showing in 2nd half against Madrid.

Maybe it was just me, but most of the Madrid side were one step away from getting the deckchairs out in that second half?
Modric even came out in the press and said they eased off due to the game with Barca on Saturday.
Plus they were still awful against a half arsed Madrid.
