ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Oh dear the Kopites are getting restless. A bad few weeks and they will be in meltdown.

"Well Brendan knows all about great players. Just look at the ones he's signed. Assaidi, Iago Apsas, Fabio Borini, Joe Allen, Louis Alberto. I'd better stop before the list gets too long. He should keep his comments private between himself and Sturridge while concentrating on running the team better than he's running it now. Oh and try to sell off the mass of dead wood players he's bought since becoming manager".

"Agree here. Either Rodger's is suggesting that Sturridge is somehow the cause of his own injuries or is faking, or he is being an arse. He can hardly blame all Liverpool's woes on 1 player being injured? That is not taking responsibility for your own failures."

"Wonder why Chelsea sold us a player for 13 million?
Is it because he has always been crocked?
We knew this and took the risk. Brendan cant throw it back on Daniel. He gets injurred, deal with it, plan around it.
When we lost Luis we not only lost our best player by miles we also lost a player made of Kryptonite. Almost NEVER injured.
What did you think Brendan, Daniel would just "pull himself together" or "just run it off".
And hand on heart who didnt think Suarez would leave after 2014?"

If they would just listen to us a year earlier, it would save them a lot of heartache...

Part of Brendan's new stage of football evolution, it's all going to be played in the mind of genius managers like himself, he just needs to find another manager of similar (but ultimately inferior) football intelligence and its game on.

He may just have found one.

Has Aldo gone to ground yet or what?:D

I put the radio on Saturday and he sounded shell shocked the couple of minutes I heard. Bear in mind though his club's manager thought he saw him playing for them again on Saturday according to his quote in The Mirror....
And I think Mario does.
"He will be disappointed because he had two big chances. The header was one. The ball comes into the box… I could see John Aldridge there. It was a great opportunity
...

Theyre all round the bleedin bend.

Honestly did he say that?,I can well believe it?:D:D:D

I thought the Balotelli thing is a smokescreen to deflect how underwhelming Lallana, Lovren, Can and the rest have been. Or perhaps they are just aflame.

Perhaps they are

Rodgers would have been better taking it all on the chin rather than dropping it on his playing squad in front of the media like that. Part of being a good manager is trying to take pressure of your players, even if you yourself have to take some jabs from the press

How often does Mourinho do something to put the spotlight on himself to avoid it effecting his players?

The subhuman, from his new book:

"I know biting appals a lot of people, but it’s relatively harmless. Or at least it was in the incidents I was involved in. When Ivanovic rolled up his sleeve to show the referee the mark at Anfield, there was virtually nothing there. None of the bites has been like Mike Tyson on Evander Holyfield's ear."

He's defo going to do it again. It's 'harmless'.
