If you take our brand value it has actually increased last year. Even though we are not in the CL, we're still at No.7 in that category. Even the likes of Milan are behind us. Our brand value is not an issue. There will be brands who would come on board in a heartbeat for a club who has a 35 million fan following around the world.

They love that number 35 Million, and why are fans always going on about their 'brand'. I reckon they have given up on football and now it's only about brand building, shirt sales and sponsorship deals. They've lost the plot......

Actually I've just found a sensible one..

Can you believe were talking about 'brand value'? It is shocking, modern football is a disgrace were success is measured on revenue almost on a level with trophies. There is no hope for the normal football fan anymore, those that live to see their team reach cup finals and win championships, those that created the atmospheres in stadiums that made their clubs famous worldwide, copied in every country across Europe and South America. Football is dead, the players, the owners, the 'new' fans, the internet has killed it, it's over!

I used to like Martinez. Surely he has to much sense for that lot.

This could well happen i remember living in the states and being surprised at how much he was on the TV as an analyst over there. Talked a lot of sense as well i may add.

That said they will eat him up and spit him out.
