I suppose the rest are rightly sceptical due to the pact with the devil but I think even Satan himself is fed up with that lot. Given them every chance and they "slip" up.

The one saving grace, speaking for me personally, is that no matter if they do happen to spawn a win by whatever foul deeds tonight, they can then easily blow it. The die were cast last seasons end...their "divine right" for success evaporated with the debacle at the end and time is running out for them. Ive stomached them winning so many European special nights and the associated vomit-fest afterwards, Im immune to them now. I remain content that they wont win the Premier League for the foreseeable future...their Holy Grail that they seek above anything else in spite of their Champions league euphoria. All the special reputation enhancing, legendary status granting European Nights going wont win them that...the likes of Gerrard knows it too as the egg timers draining down on his career.
