ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

They just love it being all about them. Just like the last international break was. Just like the world cup was going to be LFC in white, just like any champions league final with an ex Liverpool player in is somehow about them. Suarez is still at it now, one sniff of his ban ending and he has to open his mouth.

Once their success ended they have ecisted only for media adulation. As long as everyone is still talking about them confirming in some deluded way that they are still relevant then they don't care what depravity they have to sink to to achieve this.

Job done this week for Brendan. Liverpool haven't kicked a ball yet its been all about him.

Couldn't have put it better !!

The big question for me on this Sterling-tiredness issue is this... If Gerrard were still the England Skipper, would Sterling have gone straight to Woy or talked to Gerrard first and let him talk to the manager on his behalf.
Let's just say for a moment that Brenda had no part in this and was just Sterling... did he talk to Wayne Rooney as his captain about feeling tired/jaded or whatever, and ask if he would accompany him to talk it over with the manager... if he didn't has he not disrespected his captain ?
I tend to think that Rodgers has stage managed this in the wake of the Sturridge issue and Woy fell for it by being irritated and letting it show in what he said to the press.

I love that quote from the subhuman, Suarez:

"Liverpool came so close to winning the Premier League, which would have been spectacular," he said. "I appreciate all the work the team did, but I missed six matches and scored all those goals in the Premier League without being the penalty-taker. I really could leave happy because if I hadn't had the attitude and mentality to lead the team, I don't think Liverpool would have done as well as they did."

Ha Ha Ha. Basically saying he did all he could (and didn't even claim the pens off the in decline pathetic Gerrard) but little old Liverpool were hopeless and couldn't capitalize on his scoring.

What a kick in the bollocks that is for the Kopites who worshipped him. PMSL.

Absolutely bang on, surely you agree as he was the only difference between us and you last season according to you

spot on

Maybe Scholes forgot about this:

Roy certainly must have.

Nothing to forget really though is there and no parallel between Rodger's reaction and Hodgson's. Roy Hodgson actually said in the link you yourself posted regarded his concerns about Gerrards injury with England....

"I don't expect apologies from anyone and I'm not prepared to add any fuel to the fire," he added

Scholes is no mug. That recovery period is the norm for older players. The point being made is that the likes of Sturridge is in his prime being 25 years of age. The whole charade is a barely adequate smokescreen for the LFC management of an alarmingly injury prone player.

Jacob, there's nothing to argue about here. A player has said he is tired and a manager has complained about the National side using some of his players when he feels they are not 100%. It's been going on since the year dot and really is no big deal. I think it is time we allowed this thread to go back to making things up about Liverpool and laughing to make yourself feel better about your own woes.

So, it's not a factor then?

Hello mate, why would a red want to spend so much time on an Everton board ?
Not having a pop like, I just don't understand why you would want to.
