And despite a variety of answers, Liverpool edged out Arsenal are the team that came up most often, with many fans saying they’re likely to opt to watch the Reds after their own

I could well believe that.

Except most of those people are watching that game hoping the other team wins.

I saw it with my own eyes in Portugal last Saturday.....a pub packed with a mixture if Portuguese locals and neutral English fans erupted even Jags scored.

My mate went to the United v West ham game and said the concourse went 'beserk' when jags strategically passed the ball into the top bin

Rodgers reflected on the skipper's impact in the final third, once three points had been safely secured for the home side.
"Steven is a player who makes the game look simple and Mario knows he is playing with one of the greats of the game."

I think Brent can not only get all of Slippy G's root on his gob, he can probably get the nut sack in too

Brendan Rodgers says it is a privilege for his players to play alongside Steven Gerrard after hailing the captain's performance against West Brom.
Rodgers moved Gerrard into a more advanced position late in the game and the boss was encouraged by his link up play with Mario Balotelli.

“He is a superstar player,” said Rodgers.

“This guy is world class. I think for anyone playing alongside Steven Gerrard it is a privilege for them.

“He is a player that makes the game look simple and Mario Balotelli knows he is playing with one of the greats of the game.

“You have an outstanding player in Steven feeding a player who needs certain types of passes and he can provide that.”

but they didn't actually score against possibly the 2nd worse team in the league in that time? hardly world class or superstar like, was it?

They are gonna badly turn on him if they don't squeak a 3-0 win against someone crap by the end of the month. Some of them are starting to wise up to how much bollocks he is talking to the media. The way he is coming out and criticising Balotelli every press conference while completely ignoring the crapness of Gerrard will eventually start to sink in with them once the hamsters in their heads get back on the wheel.
He's got every right to criticise Balotelli. After all he was one of Dalglish's signing not B-Rod's. He just inherited him.

B-Rod always gets it right. Witness his signing of Suarez. I have got that the right way round, haven't I?
