"Most of this is words from fans of our rival clubs. They hope we fall off pace next season. It was like at Christmas when they all were saying how we were going to collapse and finish 7th.

If you listen to United fans for instance, this is a fluke season by us, lots of penalties, no competition, remember what followed 08/09? Suarez is 100% gone to Madrid, they're taking their rightful Champions League spot back off us next year etc.

Let's just see

Yes indeed. Let's just see

Brendan Rodgers admits 'in transition' Liverpool are back to square one after summer of change

  • Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says Liverpool are in transition
  • He compared it to the situation when he arrived at Anfield
  • The Reds sold Luis Suarez in the summer and replacement Mario Balotelli is yet to hit top form
  • Rodgers' side lost 1-0 to Basle in the Champions League on Wednesday
  • Liverpool are 14th in the Premier League and host West Brom on Saturday

They are gonna badly turn on him if they don't squeak a 3-0 win against someone crap by the end of the month. Some of them are starting to wise up to how much bollocks he is talking to the media. The way he is coming out and criticising Balotelli every press conference while completely ignoring the crapness of Gerrard will eventually start to sink in with them once the hamsters in their heads get back on the wheel.

I have to say; i'm finding it hard to laugh at these idiots right now. I'm extremely disappointed with our season and laughing at them is the last thing on my mind. Just being honest.

Libpoolfc in new race row.

Hadn't noticed this one. It apparently happened a few days ago. LFC tweeted Happy New Year to its Jewish fans...it got a lot of abuse...they pulled it and then got stick from Jewish groups because they'd pandered to racism....

@LFCZA you seen @LFC sent Jewish NY greetings. Was met with barrage of racism & now tweet deleted. Easy to pander to racists. Not good

@LFC @LFC_Arabic @Officiallfc_id @PakistanLFC@MalaysiaLFC Why did you take off the Happy Jewish New Year tweet? Did you let racism win?

— Joel Kleinberg (@Joelinhorito) September 26, 2014
@LFC When you deleted this you did not only turn back against Millions of Jewish fans, but also against the Israelis WHO PLAYED for the club

...so then they have another go with this: “LFC believes in the practice of religious freedom — we seek a world in which we can send good wishes to supporters without hateful responses.”

I think Liverpool should leave the ethnic/race/religious PR one side...they've got the touch of a rapist on the subject.

'Back to square one' and 'in transition' due to the loss of one player despite being in contention for the league title last season?

Definitely weren't a one man team though.
