ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Anyway, I think there’s a ‘Witch Hunt’ against everyone connected with Hillsborough who wasn’t directly connected with LFC.

Sure, many are responsible for the terrible things that happened and it could have been avoided.

I think in order for justice to be achieved (if it ever can), some Liverpool fans have to make the first move.

Ultimately, fans – drunken or otherwise – who turned up late, with or without tickets – rushed into the Leppings Lane End with such force that people were killed.

These fans know who they are. They are MORE guilty than any policeman or politician.

When they come forward and confess to involuntary manslaughter, then the killers of my old school friend (who I shall not name) aged 27, (and 95 others) will be brought to justice.

Fans who weren’t involved in this rush-and-push MUST know who some of these people are. Why are Liverpool fans protecting them? Because they are Liverpool fans? That’s insane. How about the Liverpool fans who were killed?

I can recall at Goodison at bang on 3.00 the drunks would push their way onto the terraces. It was the same middle-aged louts every time. They thought it was hilarious when people fell over.

Sadly LFC’s last minute jackasses caused the deaths of 96 people.

If I wore a red shirt, got given a gun by a police officer, shot an LFC fan in the head – would the Koppites protect me, shield my identity and demand the head of the policeman? Evidence suggests they would.

I expect to get flamed for this, but I don’t care. It’s about time someone told the truth.

I think there is a lot of merit in parts of what you say. Denial by those who know or those that don't want to know will always cloud this issue......

I know we all sit now but there's a lot to be said for being in your seat well in advance of the kick-off (when it's a sell-out). So that's a thought to bear in mind when considering Scouseboy's comment. But, in another vein, there were a lot of people culpable for the whole disaster & no-one should escape the share of the blame for failing to act (correctly).

From the football 365 forum:
I had a 'meeting' this morning with Craig Bellamys agent.

Summary: Commoli is a ****
His agent had Bellamy dragged out of an MRI Scan half way through to broker his move to Spurs at 7:30pm on deadline day because Commoli was f**king him around with wages and stuff before Dalglish **** himself and made Commoli go and grovel which ended up with Bellamy getting a lot more £££ than he should have.

Steve Bruce has said all along that Henderson would never make the step up needed to make it at liverpool

all the players call Carroll 'The Cone' because if you want him over there, you have to pick him up and move him yourself.
