No we all agree you had the better squad, because it contained Suarez, beyond him, it could of been Exeter City's squad and you'll still of made Europe.
Your right, its not Rocket science at all, take a player that wins games from nothing by being a very good player/cheating/injuring opponents to take them out of the game, and add a couple of decent players behind him and your sorted. Sturridge is a good player, Sterling is fairly good, massively overrated, but quick and has ability, doesn't look up enough to pick out a cross for my liking, very much a SWP, Lennon type for me, but works in your system very well.
But beyond those two, and Lallana, there is no one I envy in your squad at all. Genuinely.
