this has got to be the best yet ffs ha ha ha ha ha ha.........



I am going to keep this short because I am very upset. John Henry, Liverpool and Suarez were being ripped apart on Boston sports radio station. The hosts were unaware of what the situation was and were only reading the biased reports they were getting from the London media. The hosts dont discuss soccer at all during the regular shows, but are only talking about it since it is such a big deal now. They are uneducated about the whole situation and have not read any of the reports. They actually think Luis Suarez refused to shake Evra's hands because he was black. Some idiot called in to say that Suarez will be gone by next season. I tried to dial in and correct them, but I could not get on. I am asking for all the eloquent writers/internet warrior to email/call/etc the show and provide them accurate reports and links to articles from the sane journos. Let us show them the support that Suarez has in Liverpool and around the world.

You can actually call in to what they call the Whiner Line which is an automated voicemail to voice complaints. It is usually a bunch of people whining about Boston sports, but it would be great if we can fill up the voicemail with support and truths regarding the Suarez case.

Will not have a bad word said about Lucas. He's a brilliant player for us and a model professional too (something Suarez could learn a bit from). He got on with it and really improved when he was getting a lot of stick from his own fans and has become one of the best players in his position in the league. People might not appreciate him if they don't watch him regularly because he's not a glamorous player but I'm pretty sure he had the most tackles in the league before his injury, and he was just about getting the praise he's deserved recently before he got a bad injury. I actually think we've been missing Lucas much more than Suarez. Spearing is a decent player but isn't quite the same level whereas if you look at it, our best run came during Suarez's ban.

Having said that, I think Fellaini is a good player too, but a lot of people think Lucas is still a laughing stock because of his **** 2 seasons.

He was our best player last season and was absolutely brilliant up until his injury this season.

Did anyone on here watch him week in and out though? Because if not, it's really easy to judge him on when he was ****. I don't watch Fellaini enough to say who's better, but Lucas was pretty brilliant and very underrated for us up until his injury, and has been for the last 18 months. I'm pretty sure he had the most tackles and best tackle success rate in the league which shows how good he is for his position, and he was brilliant in marking Silva and Meireles out of the game against Chelsea and Man City for us. As I say, he's not a glamorous player, but Lucas was one of our best players for a good while.

The fact he's one of your best players by a mile and he's not as good as Fellaini says alot.

There's a reason he's a regular for Brazil and a future captain according to Mario Menezes. And it doesn't say that much considering I'm still pretty confident Everton won't come close to troubling us for the next 5-6 foreseeable seasons.
