Seriously though, never heard about the Smith situation before

Scary stuff

Was well documented at the time, and numerous references to it on here over the years. Was when he snapped his leg horrifically there. Still. Not as if there havnt been other, *ahem* "issues" that lot have been involved in.

Smith only said they didn't rock the ambulance because he didn't want the bullets in the post.

Bullets in the post, what a horrid thing to do

United fans did it to Ruddock when he crocked Cole a few years back

Me and some mates met "Razor" in a pub briefly a few years back. Funny feller actually, up for some banter. He didn't deserve that to happen to him, Former LFC player or not

Bullets in the post, trying to overturn an ambulance and throwing poo.

Yeah, yeah, every support has its knob 'eads but that lot go several steps beyond every time.

As I say mate

'You get Football fans and then you get Liverpool fans'. They're just a weird bunch, everyone knows it apart from themselves.

Thought Smith himself came out and said that there wasnt any rocking of the ambulance and that it was all rumour?

I have discussed this in the pub as recently as last season. Im almost certain.

I think he was concussed and didn't realise what was happening. The reports from those about the ground on the day stated it happened. In fact I think it was Kopites themselves who were boasting about it.

I thought that at first, but he was interviewed fairly recently and he said it didnt happen. Might have been on tv.

Couldnt find much but this: (in the daily fail)

In the spirit of truth and justice that has enveloped Liverpool and Manchester United in recent days, Alan Smith insists no-one rocked his ambulance at Anfield as it tried to take him to hospital in 2006.
'Everyone at Liverpool did as much for me as any club possibly could,' said Smith. 'I was disappointed the story blew up about rocking an ambulance. That was never the case. Liverpool and Man United did everything to get me to the hospital and everything in their power to make sure I was OK.
'I thank them for that. Sometimes it's nice to say that because people have read that they were rocking my ambulance and throwing stuff at it, which is so untrue.'

All the Kopites who held their hands up to it must have been telling lies.
