2nd derby been moved to Tuesday 28th Jan, 8pm kick off on a Tuesday night ffs...an early kick off at Goodison when the atmosphere is generally at its worst and a late kick off at Anfield when the atmosphere is generally at its best.

Incidentally, when was the last time the first derby of the season was held at Anfield?

I'm quite enjoying watching everton at the moment, well it's better than the ****e that moyes came out with. I have to watch the odd everton game with the missus being a blue. And years ago I used to go to the odd everton game with some mates who are BS. And there was a lot of bitter banter, but I'm big and ugly enough to deal with all that, and learned early on to disregard the yappings of the footballing equivalent of a jack Russell. But I've figured out since moyes left for pastures new, it's him I hated. The gollum faced ****. With his jealousy turned up to eleven constantly.

So I don't mind everton at the minute.

They were appalling yesterday, it was absolutely embarrassing seeing them try to pass it around and play out from the back. If you put the slightest bit of pressure on them it brutally exposes their pitifully inept defence and midfield.

Makes me laugh how the majority are so convinced we are going to fall this season. Unless one of Suarez or Sturridge are out for more than 3 months, we aren't falling down anywhere. An away loss against the league leaders isn't changing a thing

We're going to finish at least 6 or more points above them.

To finish 2 points behind them last season, when we were playing the likes of Suso, Sterling and Wisdom nearly every game for the first half of last season says a lot.

They've improved as a team on last season, but our improvements are much more vast. Our attacking quality is a level above them, and i don't think there is much separating each defence (though i do give them a slight edge). We've got the edge in midfield though - Lucas, Gerrard and Coutinho are a better combo compared to Barry, McCarthy and Barkley.

Don't think it has been 'moved' tbh. it was scheduled for then, must be week that has midweek games.

I saw it last week on the fixtures tbh. unlike the west brom game that has been moved today for TV.

Lol'ing at them saying they have a better midfield, henderson, lucas and gerrard are a dreadful combo and so one paced its embarrassing. Arteta played the same role as Lucas on sat and showed everyone why Lucas is a bog standard CM who can sit and do nothing else, Arteta did that and started moves and passed the ball positively, Barry also does a better job than Lucas and is stronger, McCarthy can more than match Horrenderson's energy levels and is a better player and Barkley is light years ahead of the fossilised version of Gerrard. They have the advantage upfront and thats it, but Lukaku isnt bad is he, a better all round player than Sturridge, who showed his limitations on Saturday when he's not on a purple patch.

i think he's usually quite highly rated on FM. Then again, sakho becomes the best defender in the world and he's looked fairly average. still young though. no idea what agger's doing on the bench, best defender of theirs by an absolute mile
