Ive never seen an opening set of fixtures like it

Stoke,Swansea,Southampton,Palace,Sunderland and Villa

Only Utd would be looked at as a hard game and they always up there standards for there cup final

Love the way the avoided big games whilst the rat was out

They drew at Swansea then lost to Southampton at home before going out of the cup to Moyes FC B team. All of a sudden just because they've beaten the two worst sides in the league, one of which was at home, they think they're going to win the title just because they've got two half decent strikers. Their delusion really does know no end. As soon as they start facing anyone who isn't absolute fodder then they're unique brand of mass defense and playing on the break even at home against relegation sides will quickly unwravel.

That should be a word FFS - it's the perfect blend of "unwrap" and "unravel".

Just been going through the fixtures and they've got one hard game before the derby. That's it.

F*cking shocking the run of fixtures they've managed to wrangle here.

Oh yeah the old Witchhunt for the RS. Obviously one of their own did the fixtures:

Strength of Schedule (as the Yanks call it) - the current position (ties not broken for goal difference) for all teams in the PL so far

1 Aston Villa 46.5
2 Swansea 53
3 Norwich 54

4 Sunderland 64
4 WHU 64
6 Cardiff 66

7 Hull City 72.5
8 Crystal Palace 73.5
9 Newcastle 74
9 Stoke 74
11 Everton 74.5
12 WBA 75
12 Man City 75
14 Fulham 77
15 Man Utd 78
16 Chelsea 79

17 Tottenham 84

18 Liverpool 95.5
19 Arsenal 97
20 Southampton 99

So there's not exactly overachieving when you read this.. their opponent's average position is almost 14th! This data strongly refutes Moyes' assertion United had a tough start. Fulham are massively underachieving. Villa are doing somewhat better than they might have expected from their start (Arsenal, Chelsea away, Citteh, RS home)
