I know that is a classic business ploy by their chairman in his "he's not for sale", but is it not more credible if he just says "he'll be sold for market value only, and if nobody offers that we'll hold him to his contract."
Everbody knows he's for sale - why deny it when he's ****ged the club off, dissed the manager, metaphorically spat in the faces of the supporters.
Does Henry saying he won't be sold somehow make him become more attractive as a footballer?

He'll be found out rapidly this year mate, he's far too lightweight. He got massively lucky by arriving as an unknown quantity midway through the season and he was fresh.
He's a decent player but he's not the second coming for them. Inter Milan let him go for a reason (they preferred the equally lacklustre Guarin ahead of him solely because he has a bit of presence in midfield).
Heard this morning that he has written an apology to LFC fans. Rodgers is made up Suarez is returning to 'the group' and has organised an open decked bus this Sunday to travel around Liverpool. The open decked bus will stop at St. George's Hall were there will be a mass Luis love in. Suarez and Rodgers will appear on the balcony and declare that 'the group' has welcomed back its wayward son. Rodgers will finish his speech with the mortal words "A football team is like a piano. You need eight men to carry it and three who can play the damn thing"
