Rodgers after getting beaten 2-0 by Sunderland as Swansea manager

“It is great for the public here at Sunderland to see us,” said Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers. “They must have been wondering what this team everyone is talking about are all about and now they have seen. We were wonderful."

I think he has the chance to show he isn't to be taken lightly.
He is today making Suarez train on his own, their dressing room has lost a huge prescence with Carra retiring.
Stevie G must have said his piece as well..

It's wayyyy to late for Rodgers to be taking a harsh stance with Suarez now. He should have done this either after he bit ivanovic, or at least when he initially came out and said he wanted to leave at the beginning of summer

Rodgers could come out of this well I fear.

Even the Guardian was talking the piss out of him a couple of days ago, contrasting his demands for loyalty and a way of behaving now with his antics when Reading prised him away from Watford.

The man is a complete bulb.

He said he wouldnt be sold, tried to be the big man, the rat just said screw you Brent.

The only thing he comes out of this is with 42m.

Hes a pyar bell and a terrible Manager, utterly terrible, long may he reign.

This is key to me. He is so, so bad that I want him to stay as long as possible. I'm his number one fan in fact.

"The Liverpool Way" was cringeworthy. You can see what he's doing - ingratiating himself to the cultists to hide his shortcomings - and long may it continue.

Oh, and zero surprise to hear that neither Madrid or Barcelona ever made even the remotest approach for Suarez. Neither club would touch a PR disaster like him with a bargepole.

Liverpool should have been flabbergasted that Arsenal we're stupid enough to bid £40m for him. They should have snapped their fingers off as it's £10m over his value, but they're too deluded to see it.

I agree there on those points tubey.

agree rodgers may come out of it well like NHD said. Liverpool are playing the loyallty card; it would be contractive for them to then sack rodgers half way through a season after how well he's handleing the situation.

Might buy him an extra year, ha

I agree the better Suarez is gone.

With the Rat's Goals 2012-13
Won 16 Drew 13 Lost 9 GD +28 61 pts 7th

Without The Rat's Goals

Won 14 Drew 8 Lost 16 GD +5 50 pts 7th (1 point above WBA)

11 points - no higher in the league tho!!
