Not sure it is valid. Why should Rooney and Bale come out on public and say what they're doing? I'm sure they've told their employers of their wishes, and that's all that really matters.

Yeah I agree. In Pl the tempo will be even higher and players will have to make decisions faster. I don't think any of there players look comfortable when closed down, and they revert to the long ball at every chance.

The fans who have worshipped them and had their names plastered on the back of their shirts do deserve a little bit of respect IMO. Some won't see it that way I know, but football without the fans is nothing.

The fans are the only people players should be loyal to in my eyes

There's no such thing as loyalty for clubs because a club can drop you or sell you at any time

Clubs can't expect loyalty from players either

However, players and clubs should both show loyalty to the fan base

Suarez has never showed any loyalty to the Liverpool fans. All he's done is wallow in their love while doing nothing but embarassing them at every turn. He also made Dalglish look like a fool by refusing to shake Evra's hand, after promising to do so

The mans a selfish, racist, arrogant little toe rag. Liverpool should sell him, pocket the cash and them kick him on the arse on the way out

This could be a great lesson for them but their hero worship of Coutinho shows they are not prepared to learn it

Perhaps, but not in this case. It was obvious what Suarez was before they signed him, and he has behaved like an absolute flange ever since he got there. That large swathes of them still support him even after all this suggests that they get what they deserve.
